Arize Farm Botanicals is a 36 acre farm based on a beautiful mesa in the heart of Colorado’s Agriculture Country, providing Organic bulk herbs to Colorado based apothecaries, retailers, and local communities.  Growing from a passion for herbal botany and a love of wild crafting, we offer a wide variety of herbs and products to support natural health and healing.  

Arize Farm is a multi-generational and multi-family health and lifestyle practice. We each bring very different facets to make our work possible here on this 36 acre property we steward.

Ruth Morehouse, our mama elder on site, is a retired and professionally acclaimed clinical psychologist. Ruth worked with families and couples in private practice for over 3 decades and at the VA hopsital in New Orleans for many years.
Sarah (Sunny) Morehouse has a BA in Medicinal Botany from the Evergreen State College and has been an herbal medicine educator since 2016, teaching at Colorado Mountain College, True Nature Healing Arts and Western Community College in Colorado. She completed a Certified Herbalist course with Heart of Herbs School in 2017. Sunny has been growing herbs, making herbal products and following an intense love of wild, native and adapted local plants for over a decade. Sunny managed a 35-share and restaurant wholseale accounts market-garden for 2.5 years, has completed a Permacutlure Design Course and worked on organic farms in Ecuador, Peru, Colorado and Washington state.
Sunny and Parker met while employed at Sustainable Settings Ranch in Carbondale, CO, a Biodynamic raw dairy and agriculture education center. 
Parker Lemire was born and raised in the woods of Redstone, Colorado.  Parker is a man of many talents and keeps the farm running. From animal whispering to systems design, to managing the 3 acres of wine grapes on site, to skilled carpentry. Parker comes from 4 generations of large-scale farmers in the mid-west. 
Bruce Lemire is also a man of many skills. Bruce taught Parker how to not only hunt and track animals but work with wood, for function and art. Bruce is an artist of many modalities, a Veteran, and follows a deep passion for anything related to Native American history and tool making.
